Important Information:
Rods:

Flies:
Leader and Tippet:
This equipment selection covers a range of fishing scenarios, from different rod weights for versatility to various lines suitable for different water conditions. The assortment of Wooly Buggers and terrestrials, along with different types of leaders and tippets, should provide a well-rounded toolkit for targeting a variety of fish species.
Always ensure that your equipment is in good condition before the trip, and consider checking with Destinations to see if there are any specific recommendations or requirements for the fishing conditions you'll encounter in Patagonia. Happy fishing!
Tipping? This is probably our number one question. Tipping is definitely recommended and the standard is 15-20% of the cost of the trip. Typically you would tip your guide at the end of each day. If you are going to have the same guide for several days, you can arrange to tip them at the end.
It is also customary to tip the lodge staff at the end of a stay. 15-20% is standard and left with the lodge to split among the staff.
We love our customers, see you on the water!
